Der chinesische Autohersteller Great Wall hat im nieder\u00f6sterreichischen Kottingsbrunn sein erstes Forschungs- und Entwicklungszentrum au\u00dferhalb Chinas er\u00f6ffnet. Geplant ist dabei mit einer Gesamtinvestition von rund 20 Millionen Euro bis ins Jahr 2020 insbesondere Komponenten und Software f\u00fcr Elektro- und Hybridfahrzeuge zu entwickeln. F\u00fcr den neuen Standort in \u00d6sterreich plant Great Wall mit einer Mitarbeiterzahl von rund 150 bis ins Jahr 2020, eine Erweiterung zu einem Vertriebsstandort f\u00fcr Fahrzeuge des chinesischen Hersteller in Europa ist allerdings nicht geplant.<\/p>\n
Great Wall Motors, die in China in erster Linie sehr erfolgreich im Bereich von SUVs aktiv sind, hat sich bereits im letzten Jahr in China auf die auf Elektroantriebe spezialisierte Firma Yuejie Industry mit 25% beteiligt und vor kurzem sein neues speziell f\u00fcr Elektrofahrzeuge konzipiertes Brand ORA vorgestellt.
