Das chinesische Elektroauto Start-up Xpeng Motors hat eine Produktionslizenz erhalten und hat den Startschuss zur Produktion des Xpeng P7<\/a> gegeben. Xpeng Motors kann damit ab sofort am Standort Zhaoqing in der Provinz Guangdong Elektroautos in Eigenregie produzieren.<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Bisher wurde das erste Serienmodel von Xpeng Motors, der elektrische SUV G3 in einem Werk von Haima in Zhengzhou produziert. Die von Xpeng und Haima Motor<\/a> gemeinsam betriebene sogenannte “Intelligent Manufacturing Plant” soll auch weiterhin das SUV Modell G3 produzieren. Am neuen Standort in Zhaoqing plant Xpeng Motors<\/a> kurzfristig die Produktion der neuen vollelektrischen Limousine Xpeng P7. Der P7 soll hier demn\u00e4chst vom Band rollen und damit auch in n\u00e4chster Zeit zu den Kunden kommen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Planung laufen seit 2017 <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Das Gel\u00e4nde f\u00fcr den neuen Produktionsstandort in Zhaoqing wurde von Zhaoqing Xiaopeng, einer Investmenttochter von Xpeng, bereits im Jahr 2017 erworben. Im letzten Jahr wurde mit dem Bau der Produktionsst\u00e4tte begonnen und die Fertigstellung der neuen Fabrik ist soweit voran geschritten, dass Xpeng Motors plant bereits ab dem dritten Quartal 2020 dort die Limousine Xpeng P7 in St\u00fcckzahl vom Band laufen zu lassen. Bisher war jedoch eine genaue Zeitplanung f\u00fcr einen Produktionsstart nicht m\u00f6glich, da die notwendige Produktionslizenz der chinesischen Regierung fehlte.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00dcbernahme von Foday Automobile<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Diese fehlende Lizenz konnte man nun durch Zukauf der eher unbekannten Firma Foday Automobile erhalten, um mit dem Buy-out eines bestehenden Fahrzeugherstellers nun unabh\u00e4ngig Elektroautos produzieren zu k\u00f6nnen. Neue Produktionslizenzen werden in China praktisch keine mehr vergeben, insofern sind fast alle Elektroauto Start-Up Unternehmen darauf angewiesen entsprechende Lizenzen durch \u00dcbernahme von anderen Herstellern zu erwerben. Eine bekannte Ausnahme war dabei Tesla <\/a>mit der Gigafactory 3, deren Lizenz direkt von der Stadtregierung in Shanghai erteilt wurde.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Xpeng P7 der Model 3 Herausforderer<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In der neuen Fabrik in Zhaoqing wird als erstes Fahrzeug wie gesagt die neue Xpeng Limousine P7 vom Band laufen. Der Xpeng P7<\/a> sticht dabei durch zwei wesentliche Merkmale heraus:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Mit Reichweite – der P7 bietet laut Xpeng rund 700 Kilometer Reichweite nach NEDC an<\/strong><\/li>
  2. Der Preis – mit einem Einstiegspreis von rund 29.500 Euro ist der P7 eine echte Ansage<\/strong><\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Damit positioniert sich Xpeng Motors eindeutig gegen Tesla und das Model 3. Allerdings planen auch andere Elektroauto Hersteller in China Mittelklasse Limousinen zu attraktiven Preisen auf den Markt zu bringen.
