Am 23. Oktober ist in der neuen Produktionst\u00e4tte von BYTON in Nanjing<\/strong><\/a> der erste seriennahe M-Byte Prototyp vom Band gelaufen. Dies geht aus einem Social Media Post von Daniel Kirchert hervor, Mitbegr\u00fcnder und aktueller CEO von BYTON. Daniel Kirchert m\u00f6chte damit augenscheinlich ein Zeichen setzen und zeigen, dass das Start-up BYTON sich auf der Zielgeraden befindet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gleichzeitig ver\u00f6ffentlichte Daniel Kirchert mehrere Fotos des Prototypen, anhand derer die \u00c4hnlichkeiten mit dem vorgestellten Konzeptfahrzeug des M-Byte sichtbar sind und f\u00fcr die Serienproduktion nur noch einige Nuancen ver\u00e4ndert wurden. Ding Qingfen, der f\u00fcr die \u00d6ffentlichkeitsarbeit und die Governmental Relationships bei BYTON zust\u00e4ndig ist, gab auf seinem WeChat Account bekannt, dass ein Teil der Komponenten von Mitarbeitern pers\u00f6nlich auf ihren Gesch\u00e4ftsreisen und von verschiedenen Zulieferern transportiert und anschlie\u00dfend im Werk in Nanjing montiert wurden. Also Hands On Mentalit\u00e4t in allen Bereichen bei BYTON um den M-Byte<\/strong><\/a> zur serienreife zu f\u00fchren. \u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Den M-Byte als erstes Modell von BYTON hatte das Start-up in diesem Jahr bereits auf der IAA in Frankfurt gezeigt. Mit seinem 48-Zoll Vollfl\u00e4chen-Display hat auch in Frankfurt das Fahrzeug durchaus f\u00fcr aufsehen gesorgt. Das Display wird \u00fcbrigend das Gr\u00f6\u00dfte sein, dass jemals in einem Serienfahrzeug verbaut wurde. Laut BYTON sollen die ersten M-Byte SUVs f\u00fcr Kunden ab Mitte 2020 in Nanjing vom Band rollen und zuerst an chinesische Kunden ausgeliefert werden. Ab 2020 soll es dann auch in Europa und Nordamerika die M\u00f6glichkeit von Vorbestellungen geben.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Au\u00dferdem ist BYTON gerade dabei eine neue Finanzierungsrunde<\/strong><\/a> abzuschlie\u00dfen, die dem Start-up gesch\u00e4tzte 500 Millionen US-Dollar in die Kasse sp\u00fclen d\u00fcrfte. Die Hauptinvestoren sind dabei wieder die FAW Group und die Stadtregierung von Nanjing. Zudem hatte BYTON auf der IAA verlautbaren lassen, dass f\u00fcr den M-Byte bereits \u00fcber 50.000 Reservierungen weltweit vorliegen und\u00a0der Preis f\u00fcr das Fahrzeug bei rund 45.000 Euro netto (also ohne die jeweilige Landes MwSt.) liegen wird. Die finalen Verkaufspreise werden sich dann je nach Land auch noch in Bezug auf die jeweils dort angebotene staatliche F\u00f6rderung von Elektroautos teilweise deutlich unterscheiden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
