Die dritte Generation des VW Touareg wird in China ausgerollt und unter dem Namen VW Tayron offiziell im September auf der Chengdu Motorshow vorgestellt. Das SUV soll dann bereits im Oktober bei den H\u00e4ndlern stehen. Erste Bilder aus der bereits angelaufenen Produktion wurden schon ver\u00f6ffentlicht. Der Tayron entspringt der neuen Kategorie von Mid-Size SUVs und wird in China bei FAW vom Band laufen und auch \u00fcber die Verkaufsorganisation des FAW Joint Ventures bei den H\u00e4ndlern stehen.<\/p>\n
Der Tayron wird zuerst nur mit einem 2,0 Liter Motor in China erh\u00e4ltlich sein, der in zwei Varianten angeboten wird – einmal mit 186PS und einmal mit 220PS. Es handelt sich um den identischen Motor, der jeweils nur per Chip in der Leistung entsprechend angepasst wird. Zudem wird der VW Tayron auch nur mit einem 7-Gang Doppelkupplungsgetriebe angeboten. Das macht allerdings Sinn, die Nachfrage nach Schaltern nimmt gerade in dieser Preisklasse stetig ab. Neben einer etwas biederen Standardversion wird der Tayron auch in der deutlich flotter aussehenden R-line Version (unsere Bilder) in China angeboten. Diese soll in erster Linie junge K\u00e4uferzielgruppen ansprechen und kommt mit entsprechend giftiger Frontpartie und Doppelauspuffanlage auf der R\u00fcckseite daher.<\/p>\n
Im Innenraum kommen nun erstmals auch Digitalinstrumente zum Einsatz, die von einem 8 Zoll gro\u00dfen Touchscreen in der Mitte des Dashboards unterst\u00fctzt werden. Zudem hat Volkswagen nun den wohl f\u00e4lligen Schritt gemacht und stellt mit dem Tayron auch erstmals alle g\u00e4ngigen chinesischen Apps direkt via dem Touchscreen zur Verf\u00fcgung. In der R-line werden zusatzlich die Au\u00dfenfarben im Innenraum aufgegriffen und kommen in T\u00fcren und rund um das Armaturenbrett zum Einsatz. Ob Volkswagen mit dem 8 Zoll Touchscreen die Befindlichkeiten chinesischer K\u00e4ufer treffen wird, bleibt eher abzuwarten. Bei direkten Konkurrenzmodellen werden teilweise bis zu fette 15 Zoll gro\u00dfe Touchscreen verbaut und das nicht ohne Sinn – der chinesische Kunde steht auf solch extrem gro\u00dfe Touchscreens.<\/p>\n
Die Bekanntgabe der Verkaufspreise hat FAW Volkswagen f\u00fcr den Start der Chengdu Motorshow angek\u00fcndigt.
