General Motors stellt die neue Version seiner Erfolgslimousine Excelle vor, die auch ab dem 2. Quartal bei den H\u00e4ndlern in China erh\u00e4ltlich sein wird. Nachdem die Verkaufszahlen der Limousine in den letzten Monaten doch deutlich eingebrochen waren und der Excelle im M\u00e4rz erstmals seit langer Zeit nicht mehr in den Top 10 der bestverkauften Fahrzeuge in China vertreten war, war dieser Schritt mehr als notwendig. Der Buick Excelle ist sozusagen die Lebensversicherung von GM in China und hat bisher sich mit dem VW Lavida um die Krone der bestverkauften Limousinen in China gestritten. Volkswagen hat nun zur Peking Motor Show bereits die neue Version des Lavida vorgestellt und folgerichtig zieht GM nun in diesem so wichtigen Segment nach.<\/p>\n
Erstmals wird der Buick Excelle auch als Kombi zur Verf\u00fcgung erh\u00e4ltlich sein. Auch das ist dem Druck der Konkurrenz geschuldet, der Lavida ist schon seit einigen Jahren als Kombi erh\u00e4ltlich und hat sich eine durchaus ansehnliche K\u00e4ufergruppe erschlossen. Die Kombiversion des Buick Excelle wird zudem als vollelektrische Variante ab sofort bei der SAIC Marke Roewe erh\u00e4ltlich sein und dort unter der Bezeichnung Roewe Ei5 in China angeboten.<\/p>\n
General Motors hat zur neuen Generation des Buick Excelle auch neue Motoren aufgelegt. Diese folgen dem Downsizing Prinzip und haben nur noch 3 Zylinder. Im Angebot steht zum Verkaufsstart damit der bekannte 4-Zylinder Motor mit 107 PS plus ein neuer 3-Zylinder Direkteinspritzer Motor mit 136PS und deutlich niedrigeren Verbrauchswerten. Beide Motoren sind wahlweise mit 6-Gang Schaltung oder CVT Automatikgetriebe erh\u00e4ltlich. Weitere Motorvarianten sollen dann ab dem 2. Halbjahr f\u00fcr den Buick Excelle erh\u00e4ltlich sein.
